Cherie COLACCI Obituary

After a courageous battle with cancer and with her family by her side at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Saturday, January 28, 2023, in her 74th year. Beloved wife of Carmine for 49 years. Loving mother of Tony and his wife Laura, and the late Joe. Cherished Nanny of Isabella, Adrianna, and Sophia. Dearest daughter to Florence (nee Roper). Cherie will be sadly missed by her brothers and sisters, her many nieces and nephews and all who knew her. Friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM. Parish Prayers will be held at 6:45 PM.Funeral Mass will be held at ST. ANNE'S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH 859 Barnardo Ave. Peterborough on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 10:30. Interment Rosemount Memorial Gardens. Reception to follow in the Highland Park Funeral Centre. In memory of Cherie and in lieu of flowers, donations to the PRHC Cancer Clinic or Princess Margaret Hospital would be appreciated by the family.

My deepest condolences, prayers and thoughts go out to the Colacci family.Joe was friends with my son in school...I enjoyed seeing Cherie at mass before she was sick.
