Constance Marie "Connie" MCEWAN

(nee McGlynn) "Always in our Hearts"
Peacefully at Fairhaven Long Term Care Home on Monday, August 9, 2021 in her 90th year. Connie had a longtime career in hairdressing and was a member of the Catholic Women's League. She also had a passion for music and dancing as well as being an avid gardener and collector of antiques. Connie was the beloved wife of the late John 'Jack' McEwan (deceased 2011). Loving mother of Debra McEwan, John Kirby McEwan and his wife Brenda of Peterborough, Janet Lee McEwan and her husband Larry MacDonald of Apsley, and Tricia McEwan and her husband Darren Frank of Kemptville. Beloved Nana to Christopher (Krista), Corey (Brandy), Jeremy, Lindley, Andrew, Hailey (Matt), Zachary (Hayley), Braden (Cassidy), Jared, Evan (Jessica), Aidan, Ryan, and Noah and great-nana to Leora, Elodie, Boyd, and Leni. Predeceased by her parents Percy McGlynn and Ellen Hickey as well as sisters and brothers Catherine Brandon, Helen Burke, Maxine Johnson, Vincent McGlynn and Edmund McGlynn. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, on Thursday, August 12th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass in the Cathedral of St. Peter-In-Chains on Friday, August 13th at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery.
