Such a great lady. Was a regular substitute teacher when I was a grade two student at NDPS. The met her two sons Warren and Duane through Alma Street sports and the rest is history. Great memories with the Gee family through all the sports over the years. Football in Peterborough, Fastball and Hockey in Norwood. She was always there for the group I grew up with. Condolences to Brian, Warren, Duane and the entire family. A big loss for Norwood.

Brian and family - so sorry for your loss. Eleanor always had a laugh and smile. Whenever we would meet, it was a joy to talk of family and friends and her boys. She will be missed.

Brian and Family: We are so sorry for your loss. I have always had a warm spot in my heart for Eleanor. When I was a boy Eleanor spent a few weeks with us at the farm. We exchanged her with my brother Jon, who spent the same few weeks with us at the farm. We exchanged her with my brother Jon who spent the same few weeks in Havelock with the Wilde's. I always thought we got the better deal.
For those few weeks in the summer, Eleanor was like the sister I never had. She was kind and patient and full of fun. She read me bedtime stories and took me on long walks. In later years I kidded her that she was the first woman other than my mother that I slept with haha. Although we drifted apart in later years, her influence on those few weeks in the summer will always be remembered.
My condolences to Brian, Duane, Warren and their families. The world has lost a wonderful woman.
