Mr. George McKeiver was blessed with a long and productive life's journey and with purpose; more years than many folks will granted. He made the best of those years. I am sorry to learn the life's journey of the patriarch of an exemplary family has come to an end. Every stage of life is a gift. Mr. McKeiver shows that old age is not an illness - it is strength and resilience in the face of life's adversities, challenges, disappointments, and unfortunately some inevitable loses along the way. I offer my condolences to the entire McKeiver family during this time of bereavement. I am sorry for your family's loss. Mr. McKeiver lived his life in his God, and I am sure a place of eternal life has been prepared for him.

When we moved to Douro, George was the first person to welcome us. We had bought the farm from his sister Cassie. George was a true gentleman. RIP George.
