Hugh Imeson Obituary

April 24, 1939 - March 7, 2023

On Tuesday, March 7th, 2023 in his 84th year, Hugh passed peacefully, in Newmarket. Hugh retired from teaching after spending 23 years as an English professor at Sir Sandford Fleming College. A long-time serving member of the Ennismore Optimist Club, Hugh was actively involved in the development, promotion and organization of the Ennismore Youth Soccer program. Cherished partner of Muriel Bertrand. Former spouse of Rose Imeson and loving father of Dan (Julie), Ben (Gillian), Matt (Marie). Hugh will be sadly missed by grandchildren, Rachel, Jacob, Rebecca, David, Sarah, Caden, Ava and Nicholas. Survived by brother Allan Imeson (Susan). Predeceased by his parents Howard and Anna Imeson of Perth, Lanark County. Hugh will be remembered by nieces, nephews and extended family. There will be a private family celebration of life at a later date.

It´s been many years but I have wonderful memories og Hugh on the farm in Perth. My deepest sympathy to his family and all the friends who knew him.
