Janet PARSON Obituary

PARSON, Janet (nee Skinner) Originally from Darlington, England, passed away in her 92nd year on July 1st, Canada Day just before the fireworks at Lakefield Extendicare. Janet was a war bride, married and survived by her loving husband, Howard C. Parson. They were married 73 years. Howard was a war veteran whom served in WW2 in the RCAF. Having met at dances in England and walking her home, Howard would walk her home to her room, next door to his at Extendicare just like when they first met. She is survived by her loving sons, John and David, and their spouses, Tomoko and Debra and her grandson Takeshi. Janet will also be missed by Barbara McTagget and by Joanne Foley and Heather Parker-Wheeler (sisters), Brenda Bennett, her extended family and others whom hearts she touched. We wish to thank the staff of Lakefield Extendicare for their care and compassion. All we ask is for your prayers and blessings at this difficult time. A date for the service will be announced at a later date.
