John "Jack" ALGAR

ALGAR, John ""Jack"" Passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Ross Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Doris Algar (née Magill) in their 33rd year of marriage. Loving stepdad of Marilyn Kinsman (George Kavka) and Colleen Gibbs (Rob). Father of Brian Algar and Paul Algar. Cherished Papa of Zachary Kavka and Ryan Gibbs. Dear brother of Don Algar (Marg) and predeceased by Hope Begley (Jack), Mac Algar (Lynn), Bette Hutcheson (Dennis), Walter Algar, Madeline Porter (Ray), Shirley Algar, Pat Godding (Gary) and Barbara Jane Algar. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Annie Algar. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and the Magill family. Jack will be especially missed by Blackie, his dog. Visitation will take place at the Mackey Funeral Home , 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Friday, December 27, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until time of memorial service at 12:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay.
