Julia Campbell Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Julia Anne (Julie) Campbell announce her passing which took place peacefully on Friday, June 25th, 2021 at Peterborough Regional Health Center at the age of 54.

Julie was the dearly loved daughter of Dorothy Campbell and the late Donald Campbell. Julie was also the beloved wife and true love of Alfred Wright and stepmother to Rachelle Wright and Kimberley Paquette.

Julie will be missed and remembered by her surviving brothers and sister, Tom, (Karen), Doug, (Elaine), John, (Carol), Janice Durrant (David Perritt), and Wayne. She will be sadly missed by nieces and nephews, extended family members, and her many dear friends. One of the many children that she held dear to her heart was Colton Carslake. Julie will also be missed by the staff at Safran Electronics and Defense Canada.

Julie was a social butterfly with a heart of gold and showed great kindness to all, and especially to the children. She loved her friends fiercely and danced her way into everyone's heart through her laughter, hugs, and endear-ments. All animals were special to Julie and she often helped to raise money and bring awareness to the homeless ones. Julie was one of a kind and will be remembered always.

Julie's family wishes to thank the staff of The Toronto Western Hospital, Trillium Gift of Life Network and PRHC for their care and kindness.

In keeping with Julie's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In memory of Julie, and in lieu of flowers, donations to
https://www.sickkids.ca/ (The Sick Kids Hospital) would be greatly appreciated by her family.

We did not meet often but Julie always made me feel very welcome. She could pack more life and enthousiasme in 5 minutes than I do in a month. The help she provided my Mom was greatly appreciated. Gone too soon she will be greatly missed. Condolences to Alf, Dorothy, family and friends.

Special Ray of sunshine, great sister and daughter, caring of others, humour without borders. Julie was great with my mom and my boys. Never asked her to be, she just was naturally. Happiest day ever was when she got her Alf. Thank you Alf for keeping that Ray of sunshine strong all these years. She is missed.

We will all miss Aunt Julie so much. She was the love, laughter and light of every room. She could cheer you up in a heart beat. She gave the best advice and always lived life to the fullest. She was a wise woman and hard worker, and loved children. If you needed anything you could count on her. What a beautiful soul inside and out ♡ Love Jenna, Andrew, Isaak, Aven & Jonah

Dorothy & Family:
So very sorry to read of Julie’s passing she spent a great deal of her teenage years around us and we have great memories of those times .
I remember the first time I met her as a five year old at Maple Grove school and the last time I saw her at Chemong Lodge that night we had a great chat. She always was one of my favourites. It’s hard to think of her gone the years have passed so quickly . Thinking of you and family as this sad time .
