Linda NEWELL

Passed away on the morning of Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre at the age of 78. Linda was the beloved wife and best friend of John Newell for 15 years and is already terribly missed. She was the strong, loving mother of "Big Mike" Teatro, Michelle Williams, Kellie Harper (Dave Ellis), Tracey McIlveen and "Little Mike" McIlveen. Proud Grandma of her many grandchildren; Matthew, Christian, Cameron, Chalene, MacKenzie, Landen, Bradley, Justin, Melissa, Brandon, Michaela, and Sarah and of great-grandchildren; Dominic, Jason, Coral, Jaxon, Violet, Kinsley and Watson. Linda was the dear sister of Alice, Cathy, Germaine, Audrey, and the late Jean. She will also be fondly remembered by John's children, Samuel and Emily, as well as his grandchildren, James and Sage, her many nieces and nephews, especially nephews, Stephen and Jamie Morden. Linda has now been reunited with her son, Barry Teatro, grandson Jonathan, sister Jean and her parents, George and Lillian Stone. Forever remembered for her fierce love of her family, Linda would open her heart and her home to anyone in need. Though she is now out of sight, she will never be far from thought. A Celebration of Linda's Life will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at the Nisbett Funeral Home, 600 Monaghan Rd. S., Peterborough at 12 p.m. with visitation for one hour prior. Interment in Rosemount Memorial Gardens.
