Marion DAFOE Obituary

Passed away at the P.R.H.C. on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. Marion Dafoe of Peterborough in her 101st year. Marion was a member of the C.W.A.C. (Canadian Women Army Corp) from 1943 - 1946 and assisted in the operation of the family business, Dafoe Excavating. Loving wife of the late Warden A. "Doc" Dafoe (d. 1988). Sadly missed by her sons James "Jim" Dafoe (the late Camilla) of North Kawartha, Ronald "Ron" Dafoe (Margie) of Nova Scotia, Ivan Dafoe (Heather) of Bridgenorth, Warden Dafoe (Susan) of Whitby and daughters Dale Rodger (Jack) of Peterborough, Diane Dafoe of Peterborough and Brenda Donnelly of Alberta. Also missed by 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her 4 sisters and 3 brothers. Cremation has taken place.
