Devoted Mother of Jim Johnston (June), Loraine Teatro (the late Les), Elaine Forde (Robert) and Darlene Swift (the late Mike). Adored Grandmother of Jenni Hubbert (Dave), the late James Johnston, Joe Teatro (Kelly), Tammy Moore (Randy), Katie Branscombe (Lee), Krissy LaForge (Dan), Michael Swift (Jessica), Kerri-Ann Swift (Eric) and Jeffrey Swift (Brittany). Cherished Great-Grandmother of Hayley, Carter, Kolby, Callan, Hudson, Rylynn, Mieha, Cora, Payton, Jake, Luke, Brady, Teeghan, Tristan, Tinsley and Everleigh. Dear sister of the late Bernie Hewie (Marion), the late Esther Gillespie (the late Bill), the late Joe Hewie (the late Ola), the late Jean Russell, the late Doreen Wilson and Mickey Hewie and sister-in-law to the late Al Johnston (June), the late Mary-Jane Johnston, the late Edwina Edwards (the late Jack), the late Margaret Miron (the late Gerard), the late Dick Johnston (the late Shirley), Orthea Rothwell (the late Jerry), Patricia Lariviere (the late Jim), Andrea Piepenhagen (the late John), the late Geraldine Clysdale (Moe), the late Jacqueline Johnston and Kathy Brolley. Predeceased by her parents Wallace Hewie and Edna (nee Blake). Sadly missed by her best friends Bonnie Young, Andrea Piepenhagen and Morley Clysdale. Friends will be received at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Monday, August 30, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM. Covid-19 restrictions are in place and face coverings are mandatory. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 in the Highland Park Funeral Centre and is by invitation only due to covid 19 restrictions. Interment Rosemount Memorial Gardens.
