We are so very sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved son Michael. Our son Alex attends Alternatives so he knew him from there . They used to go to the park with a group and Alex would often talk about him. Alex visited him at the hospital with Joanne as well.He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this most difficult time. Sincerely Sue, Keith, Alex and Jonny Lunn

When our family arrived in Canada in the 70s, the Porter family was one of the first we met up with when we moved into our new house opposite their home. We quickly became friends and I recall that Michael was always the first to make sure you received a big smile and hug. When I was at Peterborough airshow last year with my son Steve, we dropped by at the Porter home and fortunately all the family were there including Michael of course. We offer our deepest sympathies to Tony, Val, Nicky, Steven and Andrew, we do understand what a big loss Michael's passing will be to you all. All our love, stay well and safe, Barrie and Freda Morgan.

Dear Michael. My happiest memories of Michael were when I was supporting him in his work placement in Southampton, after which we would go to the coffee shop and knit another couple of rows of a scarf for his mother for Christmas. I can still hear him giggling and see him rubbing his hands together with glee at his accomplishment. He was such a bright spark, such a quick wit and had such a delightful sense of wonder. The world is a richer place for Michael having been here. Love to you, Val and Tony. Janet Pawsey
