WELLS, Morris ""Moe"" 1939-2018 Suddenly at Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC) at 11 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018 Moe Wells passed away in his 80th year surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Christina for 58 years, deeply loved by his son Wayne (Kelly), grandchildren Jay (Brittany), Jenn (Tyler), and great-grandchildren Easton and Remi. Lilly the fur baby of the family, loved and was loved by Poppa unconditionally. Predeceased by his mother Mary and father Robert of Mount Pleasant/Peterborough, sister Doris, brothers Ronnie and Lorne. Proud 60 year member of the United Association of Canadian Piping Trades (U.A. Local 401 - previously 463). Moe always made time to ""chat"" with all of his many friends, and will be sorely missed. As an avid fastball player and fan, Moe will now be watching from a much higher seat in the stands. The family would like to express their gratitude to the wonderful staff in the Emergency Department, and Palliative Care Unit at PRHC who provided extraordinary sanctuary to Moe in his final illness. As per the family's wishes there will be no funeral. In memory of Moe, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family in lieu of flowers.
