MURTHA, Paul Edmund - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay at the age of 90 years. Cherished husband of Janet (nee Smith). Beloved father of Dave (Tanya), Mary and Sean (Melanie). Adored grandfather of Damien, Ellie, Jack and Eric. Predeceased by his parents Thomas Murtha and Irene Dorgan and by his eleven brothers and sisters: Lucille Downey (Peter), Marguerite Howlett (James), James, Rita Houlihan (Fergus), Earl (Lucille), Ray, Marie Perdue (Ray), Leo (Jean), Verna Langille, Bazil and Mike (Rita). Dear brother-in-law of Patricia Murtha, Keith Langille (Eva) and David Smith (Brenda). Fondly remembered by his many dozens of amazing nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends were invited to call at the STODDART FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE , 24 Mill St., Lindsay K9V 2L1 (705-324-3205) on Sunday, December 2 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial was from ST. LUKE'S CHURCH , Downeyville on Monday, December 3 at 11:00 A.M. Interment at St. Luke's Cemetery, Downeyville. Parish prayers were offered at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations to the Ross Memorial Hospital or the St. Luke's Hall- Renovation Fund. The family wishes to offer a heartfelt thanks to Dr. Graham Loeb for his many years of care and to Dr. Michael Francis and to the amazing staff of the Emergency Department and the staff of Medical North at the Ross Memorial Hospital.
