ESSON, Roger James (Nineteen year veteran and a Captain in the Trent Hills Fire Department - Hastings Station) As a result of a motor vehicle accident on Friday, June 29, 2018, Roger Esson of Hastings, in his 48th year. Loving husband of Michelle (nee Ferguson). Dear son of Ron and Marion Esson of Keene and son-in-law of Cathy Ferguson of Hastings. Brother of Derek of Belleville. Brother-in-law of Shawn Ferguson of Hastings. Grandson of Audrey Davis of Keene. Roger will be sadly missed by his aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as many friends. Resting at the BRETT FUNERAL CHAPEL, HASTINGS on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at 1:30 p.m., Reverend Jamie York officiating.
