Sandra Ellen "Sandy" Mathews

Passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday April 28, 2022. Sandy Mathews of Lakefield aged 65 years. Sandy will be remembered by many for her big heart, kind, and generous nature, always giving of herself to help others and her great sense of humour and quick wit. Her family was her life and she received so much joy from her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Loved and missed by her partner and friend Tom Richard, her daughter Shannon Mathews Wehrspann (Andy) and her grandchildren Owen and Norah. Also missed by her mother Dorothy Mathews Noble, brother Tim Mathews (Jenn) and sister Kelley McFadden (Ross). Lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews Emily Freeburn (John), Lindy Parnell (Matt), Joe McFadden (Andi), Molly McFadden (Jake), Keanna Mathews (Collin), Regan Mathews (Luke), five great nieces and four great nephews. Also remembered by many loving and supportive friends that have always been by her side. Predeceased by her father Laverne (Slip) Mathews.
