Steven Glenn Stapley

In loving memory of Steven Glenn Stapley, who passed away suddenly on August 20, 2022, at the age of 32. Steven is the beloved son of Chad and Glenna (nee Stapley) Birkhof. Devoted brother to Broedie and Martha, Brhette (Teigan) and Dustyn (Jess). Cherished grandson to Susan and Glenn Stapley, Gloria, and Gary Birkhof. Inspiring uncle to Emerson and Ronan. Adored by his extended families; the Teevins, Birkhofs and Rennies. Steven was a beautiful person full of love and laughter. His greatest gift in life was his ability to spread joy to all those he encountered and lift the spirits of so many. He was truly a unconditional lover of all. A gentle soul who had a passion for family and friends. He enjoyed time swinging the sticks on the golf course and swinging them even harder on the lacrosse floor. If you had the pleasure of crossing paths with Steve, you know how truly positive his impact was on this world. Please hold Steven with you each and everyday. Follow in his footsteps by passing along joy, love, and laughter to all of those around you.

Visitation will be held at the Ashburnham Funeral Home, 840 Armour Rd. Peterborough on Thursday September 1st, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday September 2nd, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Peterborough Legion, 1550 Lansdowne St. W. from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Steven's name to the Peterborough Minor Lacrosse Association to help support families in need of registration fees.
