Susan SIMS Obituary

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre in her 75th year. Beloved wife of Dan. Cherished mother and grandmother of Deanne MacIsaac (Ian); Andrew McArthur and his daughter Melina-May; John Sims (Eileen) and their children Duane (Jess), Austin, Delaney (Carl), Ben and Daniel; and the late Nathan (Rhianna) and their children Braylin, Madelyn, Jack and Charles. Great-grandmother of Sailor, Aevah, Lennon and Wrenley. Survived by her sisters Karen Wood (Lorne) and Janice Hornsby (Kevin). Sue will be sadly missed by her nephew Derek. Predeceased by her parents Douglas Darling, Mary Kathleen and Margaret Darling and her brother Stephen.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 1 - 4 p.m. at HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, Peterborough. Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

I recognized her sweet smile.We worked together many years ago at Brinton Carpets in Peterborough.She helped and saved me more than I can ever express.I think of this sweet lady often.Rest in peace
