I am very saddened by my favorite uncle's passing, but at the same time grateful for the times he packed his family up and drove across the provinces to visit our family. The visits were few and the miles between us were long, but the memories are ever lasting. May he rest in peace.

One of my many memories of Dad is when Reg and I moved from Cold Lake to Tillsonburg. Dad was keeping Wyatt and Josie busy while I was unpacking. Dad was reading a story and The name `Eye sore“ kept coming up. Upon checking it out he was reading a Winnie the Pooh book and the correct name was Eeyore. He will be missed.
