Audrey Hoffman Obituary
May 27, 1936 - December 6, 2022
Our sweet mom is now at peace and is reunited with the love of her life, "Ger", whom she's missed since 2005.
Audrey was a loving Mother to Lori and Craig, a cherished Grandma to Scott and Corlee, Andrea and Adam, and a beloved Nana to her great-grandchildren, Carter, Lydia, Piper and Jasper.
She will be dearly missed by her treasured sister, Anna Steinmann, and brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Audrey Bender. She will also be missed by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Merle and Peggy Hoffman, Ross and Irene Hoffman, Noah and Doris Metzger and her nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her father and mother Lorne and Annie Bender and brother-in-law Ray Steinmann.
Audrey's presence will also be missed by many friends, new and old, in whose lives she made an impact.
Audrey lived her life with the wish to pass love and hope on to others. She did this through a variety of avenues such as her involvement in Hillcrest Church, and her community, several mission trips, and a term of voluntary service with MCC.
This foundation of love and hope was also seen in her roles as a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sibling, neighbour, and friend. She had a tender heart for those who were in need of kindness and always met that need with creativity, and generosity.
Audrey is now living in the fullness of hope and love that were the guiding pillars of her life. She will be so deeply missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg, on Friday, December 9, 2022, from 1 - 3 p.m. A private family interment will take place at the 19th Line East Zorra Cemetery. All are invited to a candle lit service to celebrate Audrey's life and love at 7:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Mennonite Church, New Hamburg. Everyone is invited to join at 6:45 p.m. for carol singing. For those unable to attend in person the Candle lit service will be available live stream. The link will be provided on the funeral home website.
