Barbara CURRY

Passed away peacefully at Hospice Waterloo Region on Friday, February, 17, 2023, at the age of 80. Predeceased by her husband Clarence (2020). Loving mother of Karen Occhionero (Keith) and Kevin Curry (Jill). Proud Grandma of Logan and Tyler Occhionero and Harry Curry. Daughter of the late Michael and Sara Kiertscher. Dear sister of the late Sara, Ella, Hilda, Elsa, Michael, Dick and John. Fondly remembered by her in-laws and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Barbara was an avid Nascar and Elvis fan. For many years she was a dedicated volunteer with the Kiwanis Kavaliers. Barbara's family will receive relatives and friends from 4 - 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, and from 9:30 - 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener (519) 749-8467.
