Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at peopleCare AR Goudie Long Term Care Home at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Fred Sr. (June 2021).
Loving mother of Sharon (the late Gerry Hilhorst) and Fred Jr. (Marg). Cherished grandma of Sara (Eric), Megan (Tim) and Ian, and great-grandma of Georgia, Zachary, Oliver, Grace and Evelyn. Dear sister of Keith Homuth. Predeceased by her sisters, Virginia, Marilyn and Lois. Barb was a life-long resident of KW. She enjoyed spending time at LutheRanch. Barb's family will receive relatives and friends from 10 to 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 11 a.m. Interment at Parkview Cemetery. Those wishing to attend Barb's visitation and service must RSVP through the funeral home website or by calling 519-749-8467. For those unable to attend, Barb's service and interment may be viewed via livestream at www.henrywalser.com/live-streaming. The family would like to thank the entire staff of peopleCare AR Goudie for the terrific and loving care that Barb received during her time there.
