Carol Leverton Obituary

With great sadness the family announces the passing of Carol Leverton (nee Hartrick) at Innisfree House on Thursday May 25, 2023 in her 63rd year. A life too soon to be gone, Carol lost her battle with cancer. She was our mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She will be forever missed by her son Joshua Leverton (Dayna), mother Mildred Hartrick, brother Bruce Hartrick (Jackie), sisters Susan Hilborn (Glenn), Cindy Nagy (Scott) and Shelley Hartrick as well as her nieces and nephews.

Carol was born and raised in Cambridge where she lived most of her life. She also spent a few years living and working in Split Lake, Manitoba and Waskaganish, Quebec. Her biggest joy in her life was her son. Although knowing she was not well, she was determined to be at her son's wedding and put on a brave face. She could not have been happier than to see him finally settle down. Her other interests included scrapbooking, gardening, garage sales and travelling. She had a kind heart, loved children and would give her time to anyone who needed it. She was also an active member of the King Street Baptist Church. Carol's memory will forever be carried in our hearts.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday June 9, 2023 at 3pm at King Street Baptist Church in Cambridge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Lisaard & Innisfree hospice.
