Passed away peacefully at the Grand River Hospital on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at the age of 85 years. Predeceased by his parents William Fehrenbach (1965) and Matilda Hummel (1973). Clifford will be sadly missed by friends and relatives. Clifford was born in Kitchener and with his parents, moved to Trout Creek and attended school in Powassan. After high school he worked for a logging camp in Red Bridge and for the Ministry of Natural Resources in Trout Creek. Returning to St. Clements, he worked for McKey Brothers, Lloyd Hahn Lawn Maintenance and retired after working for Lorentz Farms for 15 years. Clifford was an active member of St. Clement Parish where he served as an usher and was a member of the Holy Names Society. He was also a supporter of the Maryhill Historical Society. He loved attending auctions, gardening, fixing engines, and performing repair and maintenance for friends and neighbours. Cliff also took pride in his engine collection and had a love for cats, theatre, wood working and all things farming. Friends may call at the Futher-Franklin Funeral Home, 1172 Henry Street, Wellesley on Monday, October 2, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Clement Roman Catholic Church, 3619 Lobsinger Line, St. Clements, on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. Father Earl Talbot will be officiating. Interment to take place at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, Maryhill after refreshments in the church hall. Donations to St. Clement Catholic Church or Grand River Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
