Colin McAskill Obituary
Suddenly as a result of a motor vehicle accident, Colin aged 20, passed away on May 22, 2023.
Cherished son of Julie and Dan McAskill and loving older brother of Sam. Beloved grandson of Dan McAskill and Mary Ellen Callaghan and Howard MacPhail (the late Jean). Dear nephew of Andrew MacPhail (Krista McGuire), Jennifer Kilback (Clint) and Oliver Roberts. Fondly remembered by his cousins Kennedy, Bailey, Brooke, Cassie, Dani, Susan, Dwayne, Olivia and Corbin. Also sadly missed by his many PEI Island relatives.
Colin was going into his fourth year at Guelph University taking Environmental Science towards a Bachelor of Biology. He was passionate about gardening and woodworking. He loved growing a variety of trees and vegetables, as well as collecting, restoring and building with antique woodworking tools. He also enjoyed gaming with his friends. It was an honour to have known him.
A visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 2723 Victoria St. N, Breslau on Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Colin to The Arboretum-University of Guelph or the Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo would be appreciated.
