David Lippert Obituary

Passed away too soon on March 14th, in his 68th year, surrounded by his family. Beloved and devoted husband of Lisbeth. Proud father to Carolyn (& Ian), Tristen, Jackson, Victoria (& Alex), Zephy (& Robin) and Dawson. His life was further enriched as a loving Papa to Adalyn, Lauren, Silas and Jonathan. David was close with his siblings, Linda (& Terry), Bruce (& Bill), Laurie (& Doug). Sharing their cherished family cottage in Inverhuron. David enjoyed spending time at the cottage with his family and close friends. Enjoying long sunny days chatting in the beach circle and watching for the elusive green flash at sunset, always with a book in hand. David started his career at Schneiders, later moving to Dare Foods, most recently as Vice President of Human Resources. Over his 30+ year tenure at Dare Foods, David worked tirelessly, and with enthusiasm, for the company and its many employees across North America. David was also an active member of the Food Processing Skills Canada, serving as a member of its board of directors. Valuing family time above all else, David was the cornerstone of our family. We will miss him dearly and our family will forever cherish our wonderful memories. Join us for a celebration of David's life, held at Westmount Golf & Country Club (50 Inverness Drive, Kitchener) on Friday, March 24th, between 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.

I grew up a few doors down from the Lipperts. Dave was older than me and at that time, a few years made a big difference. I was friends with Laurie and my elder sister Margie was friends with Linda. The one thing I will never forget is Dave shamelessly practicing trumpet on hot summer days with his window open. He wasn't bashful, that's for sure. I loved listening to him. He was really good on the trumpet! I'm so sorry for your loss and that he passed so young!

RIP David.
Family remember the good times you had with David. Cry if you must...but remember he laughed a lot, and in my case never missed an opportunity to make fun of the British...he gave the executive music group a name call the executones and add his drumming talent to the tune sultans of swings...fun times I will never forget...RIP mate gone too soon.
