I lived beside the Kavelmans when I was a kid. Dennis would have been about 12 years my senior but I remember the family well. I know it´s now 2024 and I´m just seeing this now but I want to convey my condolences to the family. Also, if anyone has information on Grace, I would love to connect with her if possible.

We are so sorry to hear about our friend and neighbour Dennis’s passing.

We met Dennis in 2004 just after we purchased our home on Killbear Court.

We decided to take a trip over to see our new home with our dog Bear. Bear, while on a leash, decided to pull a head up to the front of the property. All of sudden we hear a window open and a raspy voice “Get out of here!”

I quickly went up to see who was speaking. I shocked Dennis and introduced us as his new neighbours!

Dennis and Heidi were great neighbours to have over the 12 years we lived there. We had many great times together. Dennis had a tough guy exterior but a very caring soul on the inside. He was always a pleasure to be around with. He always spoke about how proud he was with all of his family. I have missed our many coffee chats and many laughs we had.

Dennis will be sadly missed.

Our condolences to Heidi and her family.
