It is with heavy hearts that we are announcing the sudden passing of our dear father and grandfather. Donald Harold Freiburger passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022. Dear husband of the late Patricia Ann Freiburger (2015). Loving father of Shawn, Joshua (Kristina) and Nathan. Cherished grandfather to his one and only Natalie. Don is survived by his sister Diane (Bruce) Niergarth; sisters-in-law of Jayne Fleming, Cheryl (Mike) Shushack and brother-in-law of Mark (Val) Pike. Lifelong friend to Jim (Pam) Redpath and Guy Steffler along with many others. Predeceased by his parents Harold and Catherine Freiburger, parents-in-law Jean and Harry Pike, brother-in-law Keith Fleming and nephew Jordan Shushack. Don lived a life of love for his family, his cars, and his passion of pigeons. Running his own autobody shop "Freiburger's Autobody", this is where Donny was doing something he loved. Many great memories were made with his friends and club buddies over the years. Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, January 7, 2022, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Louis RC Church, 53 Allen St. E., Waterloo, on Saturday, January 8, at 10:00 am with Rev. Phil Reilly, CR as Celebrant. Interment to follow at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
