SPINK, Donald R. March 11, 1923 - February 1, 2019 Passed away in his 96th year. Beloved husband of Helen Forrestel Spink, who predeceased him on February 25, 2018. Don leaves a legacy of strong support and great success to his family: six sons: Bob (Arly), Tom (Bobbe), Dave (Prudence), Rick (Pattie), Ed (Shannon) and Bill (Claudia, deceased); Don was the grandfather of 15: Aaron, Katie, Laura, Jennifer, Julie, Jeannie, Kali, Dan, Jill, Helen, Michelle, Jessica, Robyn, Lauren and Ryan and the great-grandfather of 19 with one more on the way! Special thanks to the wonderful caregivers and staff at the Village of University Gates and previously the staff at Luther Village. Friends and family are invited to share their memories of Don with his family during a visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, February 16 from 2-4 p.m. The Funeral Service will follow at 4 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
