Passed away peacefully on Friday, August 13, 2021. Beloved husband of Wendy. Loving stepfather of Christine (Aaron) and Tim (Krystal). Cherished Papa of Abbey, Ethan, Scarlett and Ivy. Doug's pursuit of a teaching career brought him to the city of Cambridge for his first teaching contract as a Science Teacher at Glenview Park Secondary School, where he remained for 35 years. Doug loved the outdoors, and living in the country, as well as travelling with his wife all over the world. His passion in life was breeding quality purebred Retrievers and judging dog shows. He was a world renowned CKC and AKC All Breeds Judge. You will be missed and forever loved. We love you. A private visitation and cremation have taken place.
