Elgin Hamilton

At Listowel Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, Elgin John Hamilton of RR #2 Listowel, in his 83rd year. Special friend of Robert & Christine Lee and their family, Shelby (Rob) Cronin and Nathan Lee & friend Leeatte Laverty. Also survived by sisters-in-law Janice Hamilton and Erna Hamilton, nephews Jeffery (Laura) Hamilton, Jason (Sylvie) Hamilton, and great-nieces and nephews Bethany, Valerie, Jeremy and Dustin, as well as many other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents Elwood & Hazel (Ash) Hamilton, sister Dorothy Hamilton, and brothers Bob and Gerald. Elgin was a lifelong resident of Elma Township where he farmed since he was young. His hobby was collecting Nuffield tractors. Visitation to be held at Listowel Community Family Funeral Home on Saturday, March 26, 2022, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Service to be held at the funeral home on Sunday, March 27, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ralph Dwarika officiating. Memorial remembrances to Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation, 255 Elizabeth St. E., Listowel N4W 2P5 would be appreciated.
