Elizabeth Barbara "Betty" ADAM-HAGLEY

Passed away on May 25, 2023, at Grand River Hospital, in Kitchener, ON at the age of 83. Beloved wife of 29 years to Roger. Dear sister of George (June) Adam, Marie (Norm) Shaw. Loving aunt of Mark (Linda) Adam, Peter (Brenda) Adam, Mary (Alan) Dawdy. Betty leaves behind step-children Shawn and Tamaica and their families. Betty will be dearly missed by her many grand and great grand nieces and nephews. Betty was a founding and active member throughout her life at Northside Community Church of Kitchener as a pianist, care ministry deacon, children's program worker and in the choir. She spent her career working in the post office at IDA, Big V and Shoppers Drug mart stores where she made numerous community friends. Betty's family will receive relatives and friends from 3 - 5 & 6 - 8 p.m., on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Visiting will continue on Wednesday, May 31, from 12 - 12:45 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at 1 p.m. Interment will take place immediately following the service, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau. A reception with light refreshment will be held at Northside Community Church, 55 Leonard St., Kitchener from 2 - 5 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Transport for Christ or to Northside Community Church of Kitchener would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
