Elizabeth LIVINGSTON Obituary
Passed away peacefully surrounded by love and comfort on the evening of Thursday, January 5, 2023, just 16 days shy of her 74th birthday, at the Hospice of Waterloo Region. Liz was born in New Hamburg, Ontario, where she has since resided. Beloved wife and best friend of Edward Peter Livingston, whom she married 52 years ago. Cherished and loving mother of Bradley Livingston and Kerry and her husband Steve Fleiszig. Devoted and proud grandmother of Caitlin and Kirsten Livingston and Kassidee and Kara Fleiszig. Liz will be deeply missed by her siblings and in-laws; Charles and Lois Riehl, Barbara Meisner, Helen Riehl, Larry and Nancy Livingston, and Alex Livingston. Liz will be in the heart of her special younger brother Alfie and Sheryl Crabbe and family and by those friends who were just like family to her as well as by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father and mother William and Vera "Faye" (Kleinknecht) Riehl, father-in-law and mother-in-law Earl and Marguerite Livingston, brother, sister and, in-laws; David Riehl, Dianne and Al Poirier, Frank Meisner, James Livingston, and Shannon Livingston. Liz enjoyed travelling with her companion her beloved Eddy. She enjoyed the beautiful scenery while out on her traditional Sunday Drives. Liz enjoyed the company of her friends and sharing laughs while making the most delicious meals for everyone to share. Above all Liz loved her family and cherished all her time with them. Cremation has taken place. There will be no formal services at this time. Interment to take place at Fairmount Cemetery, Baden at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations would be accepted to the Hospice of Waterloo Region, the Wilmot Family Resource Centre, or a charity of one's choice and can be done on the funeral home website. A special thank you to the hospitals, the Hospice of Waterloo Region and the care team for the kind, compassionate care shown to Liz and her family.
