Elsa KIERTSCHER-SCHAUBER Obituary

Passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital on Monday, February 6, 2023, following a stroke on January 13th. Born in Kitchener on August 7, 1938, Elsa is predeceased by her father Michael, her mother Sara, her sisters Sara, Ella, Hilda, and her brothers Michael, Richard (Dick) and John. Survived by her husband Robert (Bob) Schauber, sister Barbara Curry, many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Her body has been donated to the University of Toronto Department of Anatomy. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at St Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 810 King St. E., Preston on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at 2 p.m. with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

Elsa was my roommate in the hospital at Grand River hospital where I got to know Bob very well as Elsa was not vocal at the time. I send my dearest condolences to the family and Bob. I'm sorry to hear about this breaks my heart
