It is with a heavy heart to announce the passing of my dear husband of 65 years, Pat Hart, in his 89th year, on Saturday, September 17, 2022. After a short illness, with his family by his side, the Lord took him peacefully to himself. We rejoice in the knowledge that he is with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, who he loved and served faithfully. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Marie, and his children Ursula (Jens), David and Peter. He will also be missed by his many loving cousins, sisters-in law and brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews and extended family. He is predeceased by his parents Cyril and Felicia, sisters Peggy and Madge, and twin brother Morris. He is survived by his sister Barbara. At the age of 19, Pat knew his sins were forgiven when he put his trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as his Saviour. When he immigrated to Canada, he found employment at Manulife Financial, where he had a respected career for 42 years. He met Marie, married, started a family and they continued serving the Lord together. He was active in his local church and had a keen interest in supporting various ministries that proclaimed the gospel of Jesus Christ.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
A special thanks to our caring family, friends, and those who attend Bethel Chapel for their prayers and loving support at this difficult time.
