Rev. Dr. Ernest Hahn

Dearest brothers and sisters in Jesus and friends worldwide, it is with both sadness and joy that we announce the death of Rev. Dr. Ernest Hahn, at the age of 95, on December 26, 2021. Ernie was born in Toronto to Rev. Ernest and Mrs. Marguerite Hahn (nee Damkoehler). He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his daughter Ingrid; son Ernest and daughter-in-law Martha; grandchildren Andres, Daniela (Adam) and Carlos; son Ted and daughter-in-law Marion; brother David and sister-in-law Helen and numerous nieces and nephews. Ernie's family will receive relatives and friends from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m. on Friday, December 31, 2021, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral service will follow in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Those wishing to attend in person at the funeral service in the funeral home must RSVP through the funeral home website. Those unable to attend may join the funeral service via live stream at henrywalser.com/live-streaming. The graveside service will be at Parkview Cemetery, 335 University Avenue, Waterloo, beginning at 2:30 p.m. (registration not required). This interment will also be live streamed.
