Peacefully to her eternal home on Monday, November 29, 2021, at Freeport Health Care Centre. Eva resided at Nithview Retirement Home in New Hamburg. She was born in Wellesley Township 92 years ago. Daughter of the late Amos Jantzi and the late Nancy Gerber. She was a long-time member of Maple View Mennonite Church and enjoyed being part of the sewing circle for many years. Eva was the beloved wife of the late Erven Albrecht (2006). Loving mother of Paul and his wife Bernice Albrecht and Mark and his wife Patty Albrecht. Dear grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Erma Leis, Emma Lichti and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Mary (Melvin Lichti) and brother Emmanuel (Loreen) Jantzi, sisters and brothers-in-law; Mary (Anson) Yutzi, John (Pat) Albrecht, Ohmer Leis and Albert Lichti. Friends may visit with the family at Maple View Mennonite Church, 5074 Deborah Glaister Line, Wellesley on Thursday from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the church on Friday, December 3, 2021, at 11 a.m. followed by interment in the church cemetery. Pastor Brent Kipfer officiating. As an expression of sympathy, donations to MCC or Christian Aid Ministries would be appreciated.
