QUANTZ, Eva Laurene (Becker) On the eve of December 26, 2018, we lost our loving family member, Eva Laurene Quantz (Becker). Laurene will be deeply missed by her husband of 64 years (15 days short of 65), Orval, her daughters; Sharon L. Kovats and Karen Quantz, son-in-law Paul, daughter-in-law Doreen Hobbs. 6 grandchildren and their spouses; Emily MacDougall, Michael (Karen) Kovats, Michelle (Pete) Isaacs, Steven (Jessica) Kovats, Kimberly (Alex) Contonis and Andrew (Connie Sanfilippo) Kovats. 7 great-grandchildren; Brady and Drew MacDougall, Claire Kovats, Alex and Effie Contonis, Gaius and Olivia Isaacs. As well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Predeceased by her dear son Laverne Quantz, her parents Herbert Becker and Eva Lovina Brown, her brothers and their spouses; Ross (Hilda), Mervin (Myrle), Clarence (Edna), and Earl Becker, her sister and her spouse Grace (Erhard) Spachman and her sister-in-law Myrtle Quantz. Visitation for family and friends will be at Coutts Funeral Home at 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 4 to 7 p.m. The funeral service will be on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Pentecostal Assembly, 127 Hespeler Rd., Cambridge.
