Floyd McCORMICK Obituary

Passed away peacefully on August 7, 2021, at his home in Cambridge, surrounded by his family, at the age of 83. Predeceased by his wife Kay (2015), Pat will be lovingly remembered by his children; Jim McCormick (Darlene), Barbra Dombroski (Randy), Rob McCormick (Kim) and Tracy McCormick. Loved grandfather to Shannon, Connor, Brayden, Destiny, Kristyn, Kaylee, Tessa, Reiley, Avrie, Lauren and Nick. Pat will be dearly missed by his golfing buddies. Heartfelt thanks to the ParaMed nurses for their loving care. Cremation has taken place. Pat's family will receive relatives and friends from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A celebration of Pat's life will be in the funeral home chapel at 4:00 p.m. Those wishing to attend Pat's visitation or service must RSVP by visiting the funeral home website or by telephone. As expressions of sympathy, donations to City of Kitchener KMHA- Donna's Kids would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).

To my cousins Jim, Barb, Rob and Tracy I want you to know how much my dad loved his youngest brother, my Uncle Pat, your father. When my sisters Diane and Carol and I were very young, your dad and Uncle Ron lived with my parents in their home on what was then East Avenue. Grandpa came over all the time and played cards with his three “boys”. I will always have fond memories of those years. When your dad first met your beautiful
mom, your dad brought her to our home to introduce her to all of us. They even joined us for a night at a little cottage my parents rented when I was twelve. My young life is filled with happy memories of your dad and I will miss him but will never forget him. My love and condolences to you and your families, love Sandra

I have wonderful memories of Uncle Pat. He was always one of my favourite uncles because of his smile, laughter and his pleasant demeanour. My heartfelt condolences go out to you and your extended family.
