Frank WONG Obituary
WONG, Dr. Frank Fook-Nam Passed away peacefully at Langstaff Square Care Community on Monday, November 18, 2019, at the age of 83. Lovingly remembered by his wife Juliana, his children Amy, Darren (Laura), and Erica, and his granddaughter Karissa. Frank graduated from medical school at the University of Manitoba and worked as a family physician in Rossburn, MB before moving his family to Kitchener-Waterloo, ON in 1973 to start a private practice where he worked for 38 years until his retirement. A special thank you to all the health care professionals who have provided him with loving care and support to his family. We would also like to thank friends and family who prayed for him over the years. Visitation will take place between 4-8 p.m. on Friday, November 29, 2019 at Highland Funeral Home - Markham Chapel, 10 Cachet Woods Ct., Markham. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, November 30, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Scarborough Community Alliance Church, 135 Silver Star Blvd, Scarborough. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to one of the following organizations would be greatly appreciated: Grand River Hospital Foundation, Kitchener-Waterloo Chinese Alliance Church, MacKenzie Health Foundation, or Scarborough Chinese Alliance Church.

Dr. Wing was a great doctor! He delivered my son 30 years ago. When he retired, it was a huge loss to me and my family. I just so happened to think of him today and decided to have a google search, and to my sadness I have stumbled upon this memorial. Condolences to his family.

My first and only doctor till I moved away. I always called him Mr Wong and in turn he called me Mr Mark. It was an honor to of had this man as my doctor and friend for so many years. My heart felt condolences to his family and friends for their profound loss.
