So many great memories growing up with Fred, Frank and Caroline. From cradle to high school graduation. Best memory was when my sons had meet the teacher night and everyone was surprised that Fred was teaching my boys at Elmira. My dear friends, I pray that the Lord gives you strength and understanding, peace and comfort. The Surnoskie Family

Sending our sincere condolences to all of Fred´s family. The Meissner´s were our next door neighbours on Breithaupt St. so many years ago. Fred was always remembered fondly from our early childhood years. May he Rest Easy.

I met Mr. Meissner in 1994 when I came to EDSS as a student in an extra curriculum writing club and graduated in 1999 as my home room teacher. He definitely left a great impression on me and encouraged me and fed my love of writing. Myself and a couple of my friends are grateful of having him as homeroom teacher. I can´t say for my friends, but I always enjoyed coming to class because he made it feel more than worthwhile. He will never be forgotten and always loved.
