Grace Huber Obituary

Passed away on November 30, 2021 at Freeport Hospital with family by her side at the age of 84. She is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Ronald Huber. Ilene leaves behind her five children, Debbie (Gary) Bruder, Diana Johnson, Darlene (Daryl) Smith, David Huber and Donna (Dave) Charlton. Grandma will be missed dearly by her grandchildren, Matthew (Jennifer), Michelle (Raph), Krystle (Dave), Paul, Kelci, Spencer, and Macy (Srecko), and her great-grandchildren, Jackson, Ella, Tobias, Novak, Anastasija and Jaxson. Ilene was last of her siblings to pass; she will be missed by her many extended family and friends. She was also one to laugh, and will be remembered for her love of a good joke. Cremation has taken place. Interment at Mount Hope Cemetery to be held at a later date.

We always enjoyed Ilene’s company very much. We are sorry to hear about her passing. We know that God will accept her in His holy kingdom. We send our condolences to Ronald and all the children. We offer our prayers up to the family.

I remember Aunt Ilene from the time I was a young child. She lived at the farm with us and often babysat my brother and myself. Also, I remember going to the wedding when she married Uncle Ron. We kept in touch throughout the years at the Kaster Reunions.
