Gudrun HELMOND Obituary
HELMOND, Gudrun Passed away unexpectedly, due to cardiac arrest, on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at her home at the age of 74. Beloved wife of Gerard for over 54 years. Loving Mom to Rosemarie (Mike) Edwards, Anita (Alex) Lelieveld and Darren (Jennifer) Helmond. Cherished Oma to Scott, Ryan, Adam, Adrian, Andrew, Xavier, Devan and Eleanor. Dear sister to Joseph (Dorothy) Spitzl. She will also be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents, Anna and Josef Spitzl. Gudrun's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Friday, May 4, 2018 at Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with a reception to follow in the funeral home. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
