Heather HUEHNERGARD Obituary

HUEHNERGARD, Heather Marie (nee Misner) Heather passed away with immediate family and best friend Sherri Henrich by her side at Innisfree House in Kitchener on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 in her 62nd year. Loving wife of Mark Huehnergard for 40 years, best-mom-ever of Susan Milton and her husband Derrick, dear sister of Laura Doughty (Sid) and Brad Misner (who predeceased her in 2008) as well as Brad's wife Denise Roga, sister-in-law of John Huehnergard and wife Jo Ann Hackett, and also remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Special thanks to her niece Carrie Linseman. Predeceased by her parents, Jack and Geraldine (nee Cox) Misner. Heather was a longtime member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Waterloo and loved by her many friends in Boquete, Panama. However, she will not be missed by Mohawk casino where she was a frequent winner. She loved her home and tending to her gardens and her little buddy Robin. Heather's caring nature and strong and enduring spirit guided her friendships and decisions throughout her life. Special thank you to Drs. Bahl, Molckovsky, Russek, and Shahi as well as all the staff at Grand River Regional Cancer Centre and at Innisfree House for their exceptional care and compassion. Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Heather during a memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, February 22, 2019 from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 78 John St. W., Waterloo on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Joel Kuhl officiating. Reception to follow. Condolences for the family and memorial donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre or Innisfree House (Hospice) would be appreciated by the family and may be arranged by contacting the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445.
