After a long and happy life spent with his family and friends, Henry passed away peacefully at Freeport Hospital on September 4, 2022 at the age of 85. Henry was a loving husband to his one and only Gertrude (Getch nee Kaminski) and a proud father of Michael (Dawn) and David (Monica). He was especially thrilled with his grandkids Alanna, Justin, Darrien and David. Henry is also survived by his sister Edith Versteeg, sister-in-law Mary (Joe) Zaba and brother-in-law Sigmund (Hubie) Kaminski and many nieces and nephews whom he cherished dearly. He was predeceased by his parents Emilie and Freedrich Zuber, Sophie and Alexander Kaminski along with his sisters Ursula Williams and Irene Tkachuk. He will now be reunited with his best friend Jerry Hillgartner. Henry was born in Michelfeld, Germany and later moved to Canada where he proudly became a Canadian citizen in 1959. He always loved his work and was always known as a hard worker. He spent the bulk of his working years at B&W Heat Treating in Kitchener. Family and friends will be received at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener on Friday, September 9, 2022 from 9:30 - 10:15 a.m. Memorial service will take place in the chapel at 10:30 a.m. followed by a reception. Private interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau. Those unable to attend may join the service via live stream at
