Dr. Howard Grant Mutrie

Passed away peacefully at Lanark Heights LTC on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at the age of 98. Beloved husband of Beatrice (nee Madsen) for over 73 years. Loving father of Kathryn Hadley (Robert), Donna Boag (Peter), John Mutrie (Colleen) and Mark Mutrie (Paul McKone). Much loved "Grampy" of Sarah (Scott), Ryan (Pam), Michael (Katie), Laura (Jakob), Eric (Gill), Jennifer (Vic), Andrew (Catherine), Alex (Allison) and great-grandfather of Aiden, Cole, Grayson, Tyler, Magnus, Madsen, Will, Ethan, Rose, Grant, and Sienna. Prede-ceased by his brothers Ralph, Ron, and Murray. Howard was a longtime member and elder emeritus of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. He graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1947. As a veterinarian, he cared for all creatures great and small. Howard's family will receive relatives and friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St. Kitchener (519) 749-8467. Funeral Service in the chapel on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Masks are required to attend the visitation, funeral and reception.
