With heavy hearts, we are saddened to announce that Hrant Mardirosian passed away peacefully on June 23, 2021, at the age of 44. Most known to many as Harry, he was surrounded by his loved ones while at home. Family has always been important to Harry. He is survived by his loving wife Araz (ne. Kataroyan) and three beautiful sons Antranig (Antony), Ari and Arka. He was predeceased by his mother Rose (ne. Titizian) Mardirosian. He will be deeply missed by his father Hrayr Ray Mardirosian, sisters Garine Arsha and Gayane Lucy, and mother-in-law Maral Hiloujian. He was a devoted godfather and uncle to Ayden and Daron and supporting brother to their parents Arlen and Talar. Harry touched and impacted so many people's lives, his bright smile and his laughter will be remembered by many. Harry loved music and movies, and all sports. He was always up for a pickup game of basketball or kicking a soccer ball with his boys. A natural born athlete, Harry grew up playing hockey with a close-knit group of friends. He was also an active participant in the Cambridge Armenian community. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him. Harry's family will receive family and friends at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge on Sunday, June 27th from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, please register (RSVP) on-line through the funeral home website to attend the visitation for Harry. Masks and social distancing will be required. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 28th at St. Nishan Armenian Apostolic Church, 15 International Dr., Cambridge. Please register (RSVP) through the funeral home to attend the Funeral Service for Hrant. The Funeral Service for Harry will also be live streamed and a link for the service will be on the funeral home website. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to be accepted for St. Nishan Armenian Apostolic Church and the
Canadian Cancer Society.
