Hugel, Irene (nee) Kurz. Passed away peacefully with her son by her side on Sunday April 11th in London, Ontario at the age of 98 years. Loving wife of the late Adam Joseph Hugel (2003). Dear mother of Harold Hugel (Kathy Demopoulos) of London. Loving Grandmother of Nicole Hugel, Jennifer Hugel (Paul Cheung) and her step granddaughter Giuliana Trovato (Amanda Perri). Predeceased by her parents David Kurz and Johanne Mayerle and her sister Hedwig Quaiser and brother Walter Kurz. The family would like to thank the staff of AMICA, Extended Families and University Hospital, all of London, for taking such good care of her. London had been her home for the past 12 years. She was so happy living in London and made so many special friends. To keep everyone safe during the pandemic, there will be a virtual memorial service. Interment will take place at Woodland Cemetery Kitchener.
