FLEET, James (Bernie) Passed away peacefully at Forest Heights Long Term Care, Kitchener on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at the age of 83. Loving husband of Effie for 40 years. Dear father of Arlene Fleet (Donovan). Stepfather to Marilyn (Rae Zinck), Dianne (Ken Goreski), Karen Luke, Heather (Eduardo Unikel), Janice (Dale Mayhew), Debbie (Rudy Kruppa), and Robin (Keith Smith). Bernie will be missed by 18 grand- children, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Survived by brother Ronald Fleet (Marie) and many nephews, nieces and their families. Predeceased by brothers Bill Fleet and Mel Fleet (Lyrel). Bernie worked at B.F. Goodrich for 25 years. He enjoyed working in his welding shop, playing his guitar and singing for family and friends. A Celebration of Life for Bernie will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King St. S., Waterloo in the Fire Side Reception Room on Sunday, August 27, 2017 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. Cremation has taken place. A special thank you for the extra care Bernie received from CCAC caregivers as well as the capable staff at Forest Heights Long Term Care Home.
