Peacefully at Chapman House Hospice, Owen Sound on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 in his 74th year. Alf, beloved husband of Pat (nee Cutter). Loving dad of Bonnie and her husband Bil Surette, and Lisa Mawhinney and her husband Darryl Moore. Proud Poppa of Madeleine, Rachel, Nathan, Brody (Tessla), Ainsley (Logan), and Reilly (Tess). Loving G Pops of Ariya. Dear brother of Dona Bunting and her husband Larry Hooper, Bob Galivan and his wife Mia, and Lora and her husband Bob Lukasik. Alf will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. His two great leisure passions were BBQing for family and friends and travel with Pat. He loved his work. For 36 years at Roberts and five years at Aecon. He was a wonderful mentor to so many young electricians and made so many friends in the trade. A special thank you to the Doctors, Nurses, staff and volunteers at Chapman House for all their care and support. Friends will be received at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, 519-832-2222 on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. to celebrate Alf's life.
